Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav are winners, but will it be an easy task for them to run Bihar Govt jointly?

Nitish Kumar has won against Narendra Modi but he has to prove his talent while dealing with his past foe and present political partner, Lalu Prasad Yadav to run the government without any hurdle. Though RJD has highest numbers in the Assembly but because of an earlier agreement Lalu will have to settle with the Nitish's leadership. But he can create hurdles for Nitish at any time. It may happen after a year or before Lok Sabha elections 2019. But it is sure that Lalu will try to replace Nitish with his eldest son.

In democracy there is no security for political parties for their winning streak. In the post independent era of India only the Congress Party had a chance to be in the power for a long period (nearly 40 years) as there was no strong opposition party in the country. Though Jan Sangh Party was there people could not attract and make it own. This might be because of the illiteracy and lack of awareness.

Moreover the Nehru family had got the name that they sacrificed their wealth for the independence of the country. Whatever the reason was, the Congress had the advantage of being in the power for a long time till 1977 when Janata Party came into power for a brief period because of Loknayak Jaya Prakash Narayan who brought all Non-Congress political parties into one fold. Now the same thing has been done by his disciples Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish kumar.

The victory for grand alliance in Bihar has got its own importance from the beginning. When Nitish Kumar wanted to keep the power at any cost, he decided to put aside all the morals and shook hands with Lalu Prasad Yadav who was sentenced by the Court for corrupt practices. This once again indicates that in politics there is no chance for rivalry to continue for a long time. I am strong believer that corruption of any person will not alter the results. People of Bihar never thought about Lalu's corruption and brought it into light.

The vital thing that played importance in the victory of Grand Alliance is strong regional leadership. Nitish and Lalu Prasad are not only experienced but also has a strong cadre base throughout the state maybe because of their caste and other things. During the Lok Sabha elections they were divided as they could not predict that Modi's effect was serious. Now they had read the things well and had come to a conclusion that they can defeat BJP only when they are united.

The weak point of BJP is that they had no recognized OBC leader in the region and they allied with small parties and that dominated by SC leaders. A state like Bihar must have a strong OBC leader like Nitish and Lalu. Whereas the BJP is having some non-OBC leaders like Ravi Shankar Prasad and Rajiv Pratap Rudy who can only orate but can't make things done. The other two Muslim leaders Syed Shah Nawaz Hussian of Bihar and present minister of state Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi of UP have no influence in the community and Radha Mohan Singh, who is a weak political leader has no weight among the masses.

Opposition leader Sushil Kumar Modi is also weak when it is about impressing the mass. The own BJP leader and matinee idol Shatrughan Sinha acted against his own party. In the mean time (during the election campaign) BJP had to face the beef controversy, issue of intolerance and RSS Chief's quota statement. These issues fetched a lot to Grand Alliance and turned them against BJP in a strategic way.

Now everything is looking well for the Grand Alliance but they have also made lots of promises to people during elections and to keep those promises a lot of fund is needed. It is a great challenge for the Grand Alliance to fulfil the promises. Already the Prime Minister had announced a big bonanza for Bihar, which is a great asset for the Nitish Kumar.

Above all it is very difficult for Nitish to continue the government with RJD for the full five year term. Though Lalu is OK for the time being but it can't be said that he would keep his word. There is no doubt that for Nitish it is not an easy task to fly with Lalu in one plane.

The fight is over with Ramoji Rao: Jagan bows

·                   1The fight between Jagan Mohan Reddy and Ramoji Rao is almost over. The both media barons are now friends. According to the followers of YSRCP his leader want the blessings of elders and he first went to meet Ramoji Rag and obtained the blessings of his. We don't know where he goes to next. Probably to Sonia Gandhi.
The long clutch of YSJagan on Ramoji has frozen now. The meeting of Jagan with News media baron Ramoji Rao puts end of these long rivalry between the two families. Though two families are not having any enmity from the beginning itself but it has followed with the rivalry of Telugu Desam  party and friend ship with the Chandrababu Naidu made the YSR an opponent of Ramoji Rao. Even when the time of a meeting at Ramoji film studio in the early days of YS Rajasekhara Reddy's rule, though as chief minister YS Raja Sekhar Reddy had attended it he couldn't yield to talk with Ramoji Rao who sat at the side of him in that meeting. That was the determination of Rajasekhara Reddy.
He tried much to bring out his false deeds in Margadarsi which put Ramoji Rao in enormous troubles and still the case is in pending stage. Then the close aid of YSR and the then Rajamundry MP Undavalli took up this job on his shoulders. But he is also parts the way with Jagan and continues his struggle with Jagan and Ramoji Rao separately. More than that Jagan has become alone by floating a separate party and disconnected with a national party Congress. After a long time it has come to know him that the assistance of national party is must.
His assets case trial in the court is getting speed and it may give the verdict in a couple of years. Mean while he wants to make friendship with all except Chandrababu Naidu.
There is a doubt that Jagan may be friendly with Congress party if things go against him. His attitude is not like his late father and he could not mingle with anybody freely. It is his badluck.
Though Chandrababbu is in power with his TDP but he never wants to be away with NDA. Even though special status is a beneficial for some extent he wants to listen the NDA that special package is most beneficial though he loose a little if doesn't get special status.
Now the firmness of that Rajasekhara Reddy is not appeared in Jagan Mohan Reddy. But nobody knows what was happened to have a meeting without telling to his aides with Ramoji Rao. It clearly indicates his surrender to a rival who tried and succeeded well through his articles in Eenadu to detain more time in jail in his assets case.
They are not an ordinary rivals but arch rivals in every point of view. Some of the jagan friends may tell that this is a courtesy call. What has happened to call on Ramoji Rao in courtesy? Nothing is there. Only with a great hidden intention only Jagan had met Ramoji Rao. There is no doubt in it. If the meeting took place between two rivals without the notice of Chandrababau naidu definitely it would have substance. According to Andhra Jyothi telugu daily the followers of two parties are not happy about the meeting of two arc rivals and both are in media business.
The meeting was with good intentions or bad intentions but it sent the feeler with unsatisfactory notes.  The news is not covered in Eenadu and Sakshi but in published in Namaste Telangana paper which is not having a circulation in Andhra. On the second day the both party leaders confirmed  by saying that Jag an had met Ramjet Rae to seek the blessings ahead of his indefinite fast for special status by P. Rama Chandra Reddy of YSRP and in contrast the TDP MLC Somireddy had asked the jagan to disclose the purpose of meeting.
Whatever it is Jagan bowed his head before Ramoji Rao and this loss is irreparable to him. CHANDRABABU Naidu has no worry in this regard as he is nearest and thickest to Ramoji Rao. Ramoji Rao can't make any harm to Chandrababaunaidu.
In the recent past Jagan doesn't appear happy with his supporting MLAs as they are deviating with him on many issues. The attitude of Jagan is not yielding anything good to his supporters. Jgan as the leader of opposition party has become opponent to Coastal district people by opposing capital and Pattiseema projects. He never believes his MLAs and put surveillance on them. Many YSRCP MLAs are waiting for their time.
