TELANGANA SAKALA JANULA SAMME : A GREAT SUCCESS

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation could not run even a single bus as the staff  in support for the ongoing general strike did not turn up on Monday. However the government has tried to run buses with alternative arrangements but failed utterly. The agitators have not allowed even the vehicles coming to Hyderabad from other states.
No bus has entered to Capital city from Andhra Region. Agitators have tried to build temporary walls on the roads to block the traffic. The Vijayawada-Hyderabad road which is one of the busiest high ways in the country has desert look as no bus and truck has been allowed.
Mean while the Chief Minister of the state Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy had told that as the strike was only two days, hence no need to bother. The CM had wanted to run the services by the corporation at least in the Hyderabad city but it was not materialized. They could finally succeed to bring the secretariat employees from their living colonies by 30 busses.

Mean while a tension was sparked in the university campus a group of Pro-Telangana students, raising slogans in support of Telangana, tried to proceed towards the Secretariat. They were stopped by security personnel at the NCC gate near the OU campus. The police have thrown some teargas shells to prevent them from taking out a rally.
Then students resorted to stone- pelting, following which police had to throw teargas shells to disperse them.
Violence also broke out at the Nizam College in Basheerbagh area when police stopped another group of students trying to take out a rally. Students have pelted stones at the police personnel and attacked cars parked near the college.Police have made a lathi-charge to disperse them and thirty seven students were taken into custody by police.
